Axel Merk to Speak at Gold and Precious Metals Investment Conference ’05 in San Francisco

PALO ALTO, Calif. — November 21, 2005 — Axel Merk, manager of the Merk Hard Currency Fund and president and founder of Merk Investments, will moderate the San Francisco Gold & Precious Metals Investment Conference and will be featured on the Korelin Economics Report, a radio program focused on asset-based investing and macroeconomics. Program host Al Korelin will interview Merk live on the show floor at the Gold and Precious Metal Investment Conference in San Francisco. Merk will discuss the various market forces that may negatively impact the value of the dollar and some strategies that investors who seek to protect against a falling dollar may wish to consider.
